Day three was upon me and so enthusiastic was I that I arrived even before the instructor. Today we worked on Sampling and took bits of cloth, decorative paper, and solid colour endpaper and mix and matched them.
After that we broke for lunch and upon our return we started on our portfolio. I choose my green and purple paste papers
It isn't much different than making a case.
Placing the ribbons wasn't any different than when I put in the elastic band on the book I made for the Lodge.
We got a lot accomplished in three days and it was so amazing that everyone was back together again! More importantly I have a better understanding of design and sampling which will be essential in the months ahead. That is it for all my Level 1 courses for City and Guilds. Now I must knuckle down and make my submissions.
