So the City and Guilds 201/202 is a three day course in Design and Sampling. The first day was just an introduction to colour, such as Hue, tone, tint, shade, etc. The use of lines and how colours and lines can produce different results and responses from different people.
So that was day one. I'm not artistically inclined this way so I found it odd but informative and I can see how this will lay the foundations to doing paste paper so it was worth the time and attention.
Tomorrow we will see how what we learned today relates to bookbinding.

It is much darker at 17:00 then it was two weeks ago when I was here last
