Paste Paper: a patterned or textured paper made by applying brushes and hand tools to the surface of a paper that has been coated with thin colored paste and is still wet. It was very popular in Germany, Italy and France during the 18th and early 19th century. I really enjoy it and tried my hand at making my own.
They are often used for decorative covers and endpapers.
